Terminating a Wanted Pregnancy

The decision to terminate a pregnancy, especially one that is wanted, is a choice that can be very difficult to make. Many people who end wanted pregnancies do so because of sudden changes in life circumstances, have serious health issues, or face a devastating fetal diagnosis. In these situations it is normal to feel sadness, grief, and loss, among other feelings.

Laws that place restrictions on gestational ages at which pregnancies can be terminated often mean people do not have the time they deserve to process their feelings surrounding ending a wanted pregnancy prior to ending it. We have worked with many people in these circumstances. We want you to know that there is hope and support. On this page we have listed some resources specifically for people who are faced with ending a wanted pregnancy. We hope that these can serve you well throughout your healing process.
